Boat Course Queensland Transport Approved
We can assist if you live in Hervey Bay or Maryborough
Complete the Online Pre Course Study
Do lots of practice exams online
Find a friend or relative to practice the required skills in a vessel
Come along to our centre complete the 50 question multi choice assessment
Hope you have studied you have to get 100%
Then lets go on the water and do some practice
Once you are ready do the on water final assessment
Upon successful completion you are ready to take your competency form to Queensland Transport
What about fees for courses and Queensland Transport Fees:
Marine Safety Queensland have changed the requirements for Boat and Jet Ski License Testing for this reason
Training times and fees have escalated
Boat license testing competency assessment if successful
$300 per person
Jet ski License Testing assessment if successful
Cost is : $300 per person
Once you complete the competency testing
We issue you with a statement of competency form
Take this to Queensland Transport pay their relevant fees
I am not sure of current fees it should be around
$120 for the Boat License and another $120 for the Jet ski License
Now you have your Boat License
When Do we do the Training
Times we do the training varies
Some Friday and Saturday Afternoons
If you have 3 or more people We may do a course on other days for you
All training is weather dependent and number dependent
Doing Training on weekends is not too conducive to enjoyable boating learning
There are too many inconsiderate rushing aggressive boaters on the water in Hervey bay Now on weekends not safe for learners
You will need to complete a Medical Declaration
It is very important to be honest and accurate with this declaration
